Archangel Ariel is a powerful figure in religious and mystical traditions, best known as the "Lion of God" and the patron of nature. Often depicted as female, she is the guardian of the Earth's elements, wild animals, natural resources and ecosystems.

Guardian of Nature: a liaison between humans and the natural or elemental world (often associated with faeries and natural magic). Her name translates to "altar" or "lion of God" a keeper of hidden treasures and the secret rhythms of the Earth.
