Orbs of Light

This image came together on my birthday in 2017 late in the afternoon as sunlight beamed through the upstairs den. I happened to be carrying a Nikon D-800 upstairs to the oil studio when I noticed a beam of light reflecting off the top step of the stairs. The new bamboo wood flooring added a more colorful spectrum to the particles engulfed in the light like a colorful flock of spheres. The flood of colorful orbs only lasted a few moments until the sun set lower in the sky.  A moment destined to be captured and turned into art.
