The double-slit experiment demonstrates the wave-particle duality of light and matter. When light or particles like electrons are sent through two narrow slits, they create an interference pattern on a screen behind the slits, even when fired one particle at a time. This pattern is characteristic of waves, suggesting that even particles exhibit wave-like behavior. This challenges the classical understanding of particles as localized objects and reveals the fundamental quantum nature of reality. The energy of the observer influences the nature of the particles reality.

The Observer records which slit the particle goes through, this causes the interference pattern to disappear. The act of observation collapses the superposition state of the particle, forcing it to behave as a localized particle.
