LaRue's abstract work is bold and expressive, it has a frenetic structure that is born from the maelstrom of controlled chaos infused with energetic frequencies of balance. 

Doug LaRue's abstract art is signed Raul Gedou which is an anagram of his name and is used as the signature on abstract artworks. Only figurative traditional paintings have the original Doug LaRue signature.

His process includes infusing the canvases with specific thoughts, patterns and frequencies that are well known to catalyze emotions, talents and capabilities utilizing a meditative pre-paint routine that is frequency aligned with sound and imagery to increase the required energy to get into the zone — which he calls "the glaze".
